About Swiss Valley Estates

Swiss Valley Estates is Central Florida's newest manufactured housing community, and is being developed in response to the increased need for 55+ housing with class. Unlike parks owned by larger corporations where management is cold and distant, Swiss Valley Estates is Family owned and operated and we take great pride in personally welcoming each new resident to our community.

In a market where the the average price for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home has ballooned up to $350,000 or more, many of the 50+ crowd considering purchasing a new home have begun to question if it may not be better to rent after all.

There does however exist a middle ground in the form of manufactured home owenership in a land leased community that provides for a very intriguing third option. In purchasing a manufactured home in a land leased community, buyers have the advantage of still establishing an investment by purchasing a home that could one day be resold, but by leasing the land that the home rests on, the home buyer avoids paying the upfront additional cost of land ownership and also escapes having to pay yearly property taxes.

 

Were this not enough, because the homes are manufactured in volume and though a streamlined factory process, they have the added benefit of costing brand new sometimes as much as 50% less than a traditionally built used home of comparable material. The homes may furthermore be customized to the individual preference of the customer to ensure that they have exactly the home they want.

Swiss Valley Estates is proud to offer Palm Harbor homes for sale to its residents. Homes from Palm Harbor are built to a standard that is equal to or greater than site built homes of comparable material. In addition to being built to withstand the forces and elements that an ordinary home must endure, manufactured homes must also be able to be withstand being driven along the road at speeds up to 70 mph or more. The Palm Harbor brand also carries particular significance as their homes are said to be built “IRMA Strong”, a slogan derived from the aftermath of hurricane Irma where Palm Harbor homes endured the brunt of the storm unscathed.
